It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son, Ryan Stuart, at the age of 30.
Ryan faced his struggles with addiction with remarkable courage. Although his battle ended far too soon, his life was defined by kindness, generosity, and a caring spirit that touched everyone who knew him. During his periods of sobriety, Ryan embraced fitness with passion and determination, finding strength, purpose, and pride in his accomplishments. We will always be proud of the resilience he showed and the wonderful person he was.
Ryan is lovingly remembered by his mother, Mary; his father, Kenny; his brother, Kevin, and sister-in-law, Myriam. He also leaves behind his grandmother, uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends who will cherish his memory, with a special mention of Michael and Shania, whose friendship meant so much to him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ryan's life on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boulevard des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., as we gather to honour his memory, share stories, and remember the love, laughter, and kindness he brought into our lives.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ryan's memory may be made to Dunham House, a place where Ryan found safety, support, and hope.
