Sadat Kazi, époux de feu Mme Yolande Poirier. <br> <br>Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Ania Kazi (Matthieu Bélanger) et Jamal Kazi (Caroline St-Pierre), ses petits-enfants Elsa, Mia et Milo, ses frères et sœurs, ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs ainsi que de nombreux autres parents et amis. <br> <br>Professeur au Cégep Vanier pendant plus de 30 ans, il a consacré sa vie à son épouse, à ses enfants et petits-enfants, à ses étudiants ainsi qu'aux enjeux de droits de la personne qui lui tenaient tant à cœur. Il a toujours cru au métissage des idées, des cultures et des saveurs. Son parcours d'intégration à la société québécoise dès son arrivée du Pakistan oriental en 1954, sa création d'un cours provincial sur l'économie du Québec et sa fougue à organiser des événements militants, académiques et étudiants resteront sources d'inspiration. <br> <br>La famille recevra vos condoléances à la Maison Funéraire Rideau (4275 Boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9B2A6) le samedi 14 novembre de 11h à 13h. He was a firm believer in the mixing of ideas, cultures, and cuisines. His quick integration to Quebec's society upon his arrival from then East Pakistan in 1954, his creation of a provincial curriculum on the economy of Quebec and his energy in organizing activist, academic and student events will remain a source of inspiration. <br> <br>Family will receive condolences at the Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9B2A6) on November 14, 2020 from 11am to 1pm.
