<div itemprop="description">Salvatore De Vito passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 18th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Cecilia De Vito (née Romano) for 60 years. Cherished father of Ciro (Angelie), Dominic (Dina), Giovanni (Aida). Adored grandfather to Christine, Salvatore, Julie-Anne, Anthony and Marco. Great Grandfather to Maieva. He will also be deeply missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends both in Canada and Italy. <br> <br>He was very passionate about tending to his vegetable garden and enjoyed spending time riding his bike and talking with people. Some of his favorite hobbies included billiards and bocce. Always ready to lend a helping hand and to offer some advice, he will be missed and remembered by many. <br> <br>The visitation will be held on Wednesday June 28th, 2023, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Thursday June 29th, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:00am followed by a Memorial Service and Entombment at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275, boul.
