<div itemprop="description">In Loving Memory of Samira Gedeon (née Shammas) <br> <br>With heavy hearts, we thank God for welcoming His beloved daughter, Samira Gedeon, into His eternal embrace. Samira passed peacefully on the night of May 13th at her home in Montreal, surrounded by the love of her four children. <br> <br>She was the matriarch of three generations of family, a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love held all of us together. She loved her children and grandchildren endlessly, fiercely, and without condition. To her children, she was strength, wisdom, and resilience. To her grandchildren, she was warmth, joy and love. Her home, her stories, and her presence were a constant source of love in our lives, and the space she leaves behind is immeasurable. <br> <br>Our mother was thoughtful, creative, wise, and deeply compassionate, and led with grace, faith, and dignity. She also cared deeply for her friends and community, always showing up for others with generosity, kindness and sincerity. <br> <br>We take comfort knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband, parents, brother, and sisters.
