Samuel McLauchlan died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 27, 2025. He leaves behind his wife, Judith McLauchlan (née Hardy), his son, David McLauchlan, David’s partner Erin, and their children, Margaret and Samuel.
We loved him very much and will miss his patient, loving demeanor—and the mischievous twinkle in his eye.
Visitation will be held at The Church of St. Mark and St. Peter, 1650 Rue Decelles, Saint-Laurent, QC H4L 2E6, on Friday, May 9, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same church on Saturday, May 10, at 2:00 pm, with a reception afterwards.
The service will also be streamed live via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83680002401.
(Please note: though the Zoom meeting is titled "10:30 Sunday Service," it will be live on Saturday at 2:00.) A recording will be made available on YouTube shortly thereafter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of St. Mark and St. Peter or to Welcome Hall Mission.
