It is with shock and enormous sadness that we announce the passing of Sandy. She left us quickly and peacefully on January 2nd 2025 at the age of 73 after a diagnoses of cancer . Sandy was predeceased by her parents Helen and Andy and her brother Richard. A dedicated employee of Gentek/Kamic and the very beloved cousin of the McConachie/Milloy, and its extended families. A devoted friend and one of the kindest, eternally positive people anyone would have been lucky to meet.
She never had a negative word to say about anyone. Sandy loved her family and she said it often. Always the one to organize family dinner night and enjoy them to the fullest.
At Sandy's request, there will not be a viewing or service. Sandy will be interned with her brother, she asked that we get together and celebrate her life. This will be scheduled at a later date.
Most family and friends know that Sandy was legally blind, should you wish to make a donation in her name to the C.N.I.B and or The Canadian Cancer Society I am sure she would have been thrilled.
