In Loving Memory of Ata Hatami

With hearts shattered by grief, we share the sudden passing of our beloved Ata.
To know Ata was to know a person with a brilliant mind and a beautiful heart. He had a lifelong love of mathematics and a special gift for teaching.
Ata's greatest love was his family. He was a loving son, a caring brother, and a loyal friend whose presence brought so much joy to those around him. He gave generously of his time, his knowledge, and his heart.
The bond he shared with his beloved nephew, Nikahn, was especially precious. Ata adored Nikahn and took great pride in watching him grow.
What we will miss most are the simple things: his voice, his laugh, his thoughtful conversations, his advice, and the comfort of his warm hugs. We will miss the way he made us feel loved. We will miss his pure and kind heart that deeply cared.
Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the gift of having had Ata in our lives. His love remains with us, his lessons remain with us, and his memory will continue to guide us.

Dear Ata,
Thank you for being our brother, our son, our uncle, our teacher, and our friend. Thank you for your kindness, your wisdom, your generosity, and your love.
You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.
As your favourite poet Rumi wrote, "The wound is the place where the Light enters you." Today our hearts are wounded by your loss, but they are also filled with gratitude for having known and loved you.
May your soul be at peace.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
