<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Wasserman on August 19, 2026, at the age of 86.<br><br>Stanley was born in Montreal, Quebec, on May 22, 1940, to Robert and Bessie (Raskin) Wasserman. A graduate of Loyola University in Accounting, Stanley channeled his sharp intellect into a lifelong career as an industrious entrepreneur, owning and operating numerous small businesses. His acute knowledge of finance and deep expertise in the stock market became a gift he shared generously, guiding and advising others in navigating the markets.<br><br>An exceptional athlete in his youth, Stanley competed in both basketball and football at the university level. His passion for athletics never faded, and he spent his life playing, coaching, and teaching sports.<br><br>Stanley lived a rich and fulfilling life, anchored by his profound intelligence, practical common sense, and friendly, outgoing nature. Above all else, Stanley loved his family fiercely. Nothing brought him greater joy than the simple pleasure of spending time together. <br><br>He is lovingly remembered and survived by his companion, Debra Harman; his two sons, Warren Wasserman and Jason Wasserman; his daughters-in-law, Santina Bongiovanni Wasserman and Catherine Léger; and his cherished grandchildren, Ariella, Robert, and Jacques Wasserman</div>
