Susan Janet May Biddle (née Kelley,) 1940-2024, daughter of Harold William Kelley and Muriel Alice Winifred (Ash), and loving wife of John Simpson Biddle for 60 years, passed peacefully on January 14, 2024 at 22:30, surrounded by family, at home in Beaconsfield.
Susan was born and raised in Montreal. Met and married John in 1962. She travelled with him while raising a family to various exotic cities through South America, South East Asia, Canada, Australia and the Mediterranean, finally settling in retirement in Beaconsfield, Que. Susan was fond of music, playing Bridge, cooking and going on adventures, but most of all, she loved attending her husband’s concerts. She married an accomplished drummer and could not be more proud that such a cool dude was her husband!
She will be remembered most for her level head in the face of adversity, her suave ability to make wherever she is a warm home, her charitable heart and enduring friendship, her raw sense of humour, and her laughter: Wherever she was, joy was not far away.
Susan is survived by her husband John and three children Nancy, Tony (Julieta), Jennifer (Colin); grandson Nathan (Rebecca); nephews Stephen (Tanya) and Michael (Cheri) and niece Diane (Philip);and 6 great nieces and nephews.
