Suzanne Kostaniuk (née Tanguay)
July 9, 1938 - May 2, 2023
Suzanne passed away surrounded by her family. Much loved wife of Steve (66 years), cherished mother of Stéphane (Ginette Hallé) and Julie (Scott Samuel). Always most interested in all things grandchildren (Sean and Cale Samuel) and great grandchildren (Avery, Camden, Aspen and a fourth on the way).
She was a graduate of Sainte Anne College. Suzanne became an accomplished pianist. She was a member of the Becket players, a community based troupe whose purpose was to put on musical productions as a way of raising funds for numerous charities. She also spent many years as a piano accompanist for ballet classes.
In her later years, Suzanne became an avid golfer. A long time member of the Beaconsfield club, the Hideaway club in Fort Myers and the Heritage Bay club in Naples, Florida.
The family would like to thank Dr. Colmegna for her longstanding care and support, as well as the entire palliative care team at the Glen for their compassion and support.
Visitation will be at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, on Saturday, May 6, from 9:00 am 12:00 pm. A service is scheduled for 12:00 pm followed by a reception. Burial will follow the reception.
Donations of remembrance may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
