It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Sylvie Parent, who left us far too soon at the age of 59.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Dale Kempster, their dog Bucky, along with all those whose lives were enriched by her kindness, generosity, and warmth. She will be joining her deceased parents; Jaques and Denise Parent at the Rideau Cemetery.
Sylvie had a deep love for animals and cared for them with remarkable compassion. She embraced the world with openness and curiosity. Jamaica held a special place in her heart ,a second home where friends welcomed her as one of their own. She will forever be remembered as a wonderful and generous woman whose spirit radiated joy, love, and light.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, when the weather is milder and more suitable for visitors who will need to travel. The date and location will be announced at a later time
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to
