At the age of 89, our beloved mother, grandmother, (nonna) and matriarch passed away, leaving behind a legacy of strength, generosity, and love.

She is survived by her children, Anna, (Ermanno), Antonio, Roberto (Gisselle) Giuseppe (Lina) predeceased by Andrea (Carla) and Salvatore (Carmie). her cherished grandchildren, Tommy, Kyara, Kyle, Cassandra Cristofaro, Simona Christian. As well any family members abroad and friends whose lives she touched over the years.

Born in Italy, she carried her heritage proudly throughout her life. She loved sharing stories of her homeland, keeping family traditions alive through her cooking, her songs, and her warm hospitality.
Anyone who visited her home was welcomed with an overflowing table filled with homemade soppressata, prosciutto, salami, olives, mushrooms, melanzane, wine, and of course, her famous limoncello. She found great joy in feeding others, and no one ever left her home hungry.

Her greatest pride was her garden. She tended to it faithfully and lovingly throughout her life, nurturing it with the same dedication she gave to her family.

Every year, at the end of August, tomato season became a cherished family tradition. We would buy 15 to 25 boxes of tomatoes and spend an entire day washing, cutting, grinding, and cooking them into sauce for canning. What began as a family event eventually grew to include close friends, who were welcomed as family.
These long days of hard work, laughter, and togetherness created some of our most treasured memories.

She loved to sing the Italian songs of her youth and had a beautiful, powerful voice. Whether she was happy, excited, or upset, there was never any doubt that she had something to say. She also loved to dance and brought energy and joy wherever she went.

Life was not always kind to her. She faced many hardships and challenges, but they shaped her into an incredibly strong woman. She was not always one to show affection openly, but her love was evident in everything she did—in every meal prepared, every jar of tomatoes canned, every story shared, and every sacrifice made for her family.

Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world. She lived for them, worked tirelessly for them, and loved them deeply. Behind her strength was a heart full of compassion, and those fortunate enough to know her will always remember her biggest gift: her beautiful smile, which could light up any room.

Though she will be greatly missed, her spirit will live on in the traditions she passed down, the recipes she shared, the songs she sang, and the love she gave so generously.
May she rest in peace, reunited with those who went before her, and forever remain in our hearts.

Please copy and paste the link below to watch the service live from your home, cellphone, or any other device, anywhere in the world.

https://fweb.tv/257894
