It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theofano (Fani) Linardakis (née Bakis), who left us peacefully on July 2, 2025, surrounded by the love and presence of her family at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence. Beloved wife of the late Dimitrios Linardakis, Theofano was a woman of strength, grace, and quiet resilience. Her deep devotion to her family was unwavering, and her gentle presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind her cherished children, Anna (George Grigoriadis) and Michael (Chrisa Kourvetaris), her precious grandchildren Elias, Dimitrios, Dimitrios, Fani-Christina and Athanasios who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She will also be greatly missed by her siblings Eleni Papadopoulou, Niki Petropoulou, Ioanna (Triantafilos Vasilopoulos) and Angela Astrakianakis, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Known for her warmth, generosity, and kindness, Theofano touched many lives with her compassion and steady wisdom. Whether offering a listening ear, preparing a comforting meal, or simply sharing a quiet moment, she embodied love in action.
The family will honour her on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9B 2A6. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th at 12h00 at Koimisis tis Theotokou, 7700 Av. de l'Épée, Montréal, QC H3N 2E6. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence in order to acknowledge the quality of care she received in her last days.
May her memory be eternal.
