Our dear mother sadly passed away Sunday August 11-2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease which slowly and painfully took her from us. She was the last of six siblings. Predeceased by her loving husband Apostolos (Paul) Kiriakakos. Survived by her children Vasiliki-Vickie (George) and Peter (Lynda). Loving yiayia to Vanessa, Parker, Carter and Riley. Also cousins, nieces, nephews both here and abroad.
Born in Selegoudi, Laconia, Greece and emigrated to Montreal in the mid fifties where she met Apostolos married and raised her children with great love and support. Her love and devotion to her children and grandchildren was in all that she did. Mom was always generous with family and friends and kind and gentle to everyone. She loved to cook and entertain and no one left her home without being well fed.
Many thanks to the very hardworking staff at CHSLD Pavillon Camille Lefebvre for their wonderful care and support during her long stay. Also special thank you to Sophia and Eva.
Family will receive condolences on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Rideau Funeral Home 4275 Boulevard des Sources, D.D.O. from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
Funeral service on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at St. Constantine & St. Helen Greek Church, 20 Brunswick Blvd. Dollard-des-Ormeaux at 1:00pm.
