<div itemprop="description">Travers was born in Montreal on July 28, 1929. His devotion to taking care of Irene was a beautiful testament to his love for her. We are grateful he is now able to rest and is at peace. <br> <br>He is mourned by his sons Colin (Susan and stepdaughter Nicole) and Grant. He was a cherished grandfather to Leala (Tyler) and Noah (Alyssa). <br> <br>Trav was an avid bridge player and had a passion for square dancing and lawn bowling. <br> <br>We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff and residents of the Maxwell Residence for the kindness, compassion, and friendship shown over the deepest gratitude also goes to Dr. Sean Pallay, his family doctor, for his attentive and respectful care, and to the remarkable doctors and nurses at the Neuro Institute for their support and expertise following his sudden stroke. Your care brought comfort and dignity during his final days, and we are truly grateful. <br> <br>A private service will be held at a later date.
