<div itemprop="description"><br>Ursula Liegl nee Hoelscher passed away suddenly at the Lakeshore Hospital on July 17th, 2023 at the age of 90. She had two nieces by her side; Linda and Donna, as well as two grandnieces, Jaimee and Lindsay, while also being able to hear her son Alexander's voice on the phone from Germany. <br> <br>Ursula was born in St. Boniface Manitoba on April 21, 1933 to German immigrant parents, the late Adolf Hoelscher and Lily Luckhaus. She married the late Hans Liegl of Munich in 1971 becoming proud step-mother to Alexander and Ulrike. Ursula enjoyed many happy years living in Kirchseeon outside Munich until she returned to Canada after Hans' death. <br> <br>Ursula leaves behind her children Alexander Liegl (Gabi Rothmuller) Ulrike Liegl (Ernst Kempter) grandchildren Lisa Kempter (Dennis Roth) and Felix Kempter (Anja Ligner) and great-grandchildren; Liam, Milo, Anouk and Paula. Ursula also leaves behind her older brother Herman and older sister Sister Vera and younger brother Herbie (Raymonde) sisters in law Claire and Rita as well as cousin Bert Snyder (Louise). <br> <br>Ursula was predeceased by her parents, her husband Hans, brothers Ralph and Fred, nephew Bryan, sister-in-law Ina and many cousins. <br> <br>Ursula also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews whom she always liked to stay in touch with as well as her grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. Ursula was proud to always know any family news before anyone else and enjoyed that she was the person to call to get news of the family. Family and friends were very important to Ursula and she leaves behind many friends in both Germany and Canada. <br> <br>In the years that Ursula lived in Germany, her door was always open for friends and family from Canada. Ursula and Hans also hosted many German friends and family for summer vacations at the cottage in Constance Bay, Ontario, that they shared with cousin Horst where they hosted the family reunion yearly without fail. <br> <br>Ursula enjoyed her later years being back in Pointe Claire close to family. Ursula really enjoyed the tight community at her Vermont Avenue apartment where she had kind and caring neighbours and made many friends. <br> <br>Ursula's family would like to thank Dr. Kilmartin for many years of care and the CLSC home care providers. <br> <br></div>
