Her greatest joy was caring for them, celebrating their milestones, and quietly standing behind them with unwavering support. Her love showed up in the everyday details—meals prepared, worries shared, and the constant sense that home was where you were always welcome and never alone. <br> <br>Usha had a special fondness for reading but especially cookbooks and dreaming up exotic dishes she hoped to make for her family. Even when the recipes stayed on the page, the joy she found in imagining them was its own kind of art. She loved watching her favorite shows from back home, staying connected in spirit to the places and stories that shaped her life before she immigrated to Canada in 1965. <br> <br>Deeply spiritual in her own way, Usha carried a quiet faith that lived more in how she treated people than in anything she said. Gentle, thoughtful, and steady, she leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and quiet strength. <br> <br>She is survived by her children San (Riz), Sunil (Siba) and Remy (So). she will be dearly missed by her beloved grandchildren Lukas, Hannah, Saba and Hassan, who will forever carry her warmth, her lessons, and her love in their hearts, as well as their extended families and friends who will miss her deeply. <br> <br>Funeral services to be held at: Rideau Funeral Home & Cemetery. The family will hold a ceremony in her honor on Thursday, November 20th from 9:30-1:30 pm. <br> <br></div>
