<div itemprop="description">Walter Garfield Sydney Noye born April 17th 1940, passed March 17th, 2025. <br> <br>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Walter "The Commish" Noye who left us peacefully to be with the Lord on March 17th, 2025. <br> <br>Born in Toronto, Ontario Canada, April 17th, 1940, he was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend to all he met. <br> <br>Walter will be dearly missed by his wife Connie, of nearly 60 years, his daughter Catherine (Elio), his son Edward (Andree and son Sean), his grandson Michael Anthony (Bianca), his sister Susan as well as many friends and neighbors. <br> <br>Walter was known for his boisterous "AMEN!" at any church service he attended, his kindness and unending love for God, as well as his passion for painting miniature soldiers. He was a loyal Chicago Bears fan for many decades. <br> <br>We would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and staff of the Lakeshore General hospital for their excellent care and compassion. <br> <br> <br>Visitation will take place at Rideau Memorial on Thursday March 27th from 5pm to 9pm. Funeral service will be held at Rideau Memorial Friday March 28th at 10h00 am. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, Walter was a very generous person to many charities, please choose one in his honor. <br></div>
