It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Waltraut (Val) Bedrossian (Mascher), at the age of 91. Val was born on May 11th, 1934 in Hamburg, Germany. She moved to Montreal, Canada in 1970, where she got married, and raised her family.
She was the wife of the late Neshan Bedrossian, and survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Armin), Susie (David), and Anni, and her grandchildren Liam, Sarah, and Daniel, as well as her sister Margrit.
A devoted nurse, and a woman of great kindness, she worked for 30 years on the Oncology unit at the Montreal General Hospital.
A service will be held at Christ the Redeemer Church on Thursday December 4th, 2025 at 11am. A reception will follow at Rideau Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the West Island Palliative Center.
