It is with great sadness that the family of Warren White announces his sudden passing on October 6th 2025. He passed quickly and without suffering, surrounded by his wife and children. Warren, son of Joseph White and Helen Macdonell, brother to Heather Canuel and John White, passed at the age of 73. He was the devoted husband of Johanne White (Gagnon). He will be deeply missed by his son Michael White, his daughter in law Kelly Leinster, his daughter Julie White, his son in law Sean Klemm and his four grandchildren Reid Klemm, Ethan Klemm, Oakley White and Ashton White.
Warren loved to be active. In fact, he almost never stopped moving. Along with enjoying swimming, pickleball, golf, and squash, he proudly completed several marathons. As much as he was an athlete, he was also a lifelong learner and teacher. He loved to learn, discuss and exchange ideas with just about anyone willing to!
The most important thing to Warren was his family. His family is comforted by the knowledge that he loved them fiercely and would have gone to the ends of the earth for them.
A public visitation will be held October 18th at 2:30 to 4:30 followed by a short service.
Warren and Johanne always supported the West Island Women’s Shelter. Instead of sending flowers, they would like donations to be sent to this charity.
