Wayne Edwin Dick Jarvis, age 91, passed away on December 18th at Lakeshore General Hospital.
Born on August 11th, 1934 in Montreal, Québec to Edwin Jarvis and Elizabeth Kellock, Wayne is survived by his wife, Beverly (Schwartz), his daughters Laurie (Michael) and Carolyn (Gary), and his four grandchildren: Mason, Chandler, Charlotte, and Dylan.
Wayne’s routine and interests were steady anchors: he skied, enjoyed jazz music, loved cars and racing, stayed dedicated to weight training at the gym, and appreciated a good cup of Tim Horton’s coffee. He also loved to paint and draw - a talented hobbyist who created art simply because it made him happy. He was incredibly proud to be Canadian and carried that identity with real appreciation.
More than anything, Wayne valued time with the people he cared about, whether that meant a conversation over coffee, sharing a workout, taking Beverly for a drive around Lake Saint-Louis, or simply being together.
Visitation will be on January 2 from 12:30-2:30.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the dementia research charity of choice or the Heart & Stroke Foundation
