Wendie Kerr (Nourse)
September 18, 1940 - August 12, 2021
As much as Wendie will be missed, it also was a relief to know she was finally at peace. She will be missed by her many cousins.
Wendie enjoyed a successful career as a reporter and journalist. She always had a special feeling in her heart for Quebec and definitely saw herself as a Quebecois. This is evident in an article she wrote, as a staff writer for the Globe and Mail, “La Belle Province” Has A Flavor All Its Own. She transferred to Montreal with Globe and Mail and subsequently worked for C.P. in Montreal.
She had an enormous love of animals, especially cats, and always seemed to have room for one more that needed her TLC!
Special thanks to the warm, loving staff at Sunrise, Dollard-des- Ormeaux for their incredible care.
A family event, in her memory, will be held at a later date.
Donations to an Animal Rescue organization of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
