It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William Michael Ballard on October 3, 2026, at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of Frances-Ann Flood Ballard, father of Christopher (Nathaly), David, and Kevin (Darcy), and grandfather of Katherine (Bonnie) and Eric (Heather).
Predeceased by his brother Mike (Lorraine) and sisters Helen (Jack) and Rosemary (Gregory), he will be greatly missed by his sister Lorna, as well as other relatives and friends.
Bill was a kind man who was always there for his family and those he loved. He will be remembered for his caring nature and quiet presence. The special moments shared with him will remain memories in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public visitation.
He will be laid to rest at Rideau Memorial Gardens, 4239 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, at a later date.
Heartfelt thanks are extended to family members and friends for their kindness, and to the staff at Charles-LeMoyne Hospital for the compassionate care provided to him.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Fondation Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne would be greatly appreciated.
