<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wolodymyr (Walter) Krywyn who peacefully left us on September 21, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on November 20, 1932, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. <br> <br>Walter will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Frieda, his loving children, Peter (Shirley), Ruth, Erika (Randy), his cherished grandchildren, Danny, Zack, Becky, Melanie, Chris, Tanya, his adored great-grandchildren, Lily, Ashton, Mylah, Anysia, Merayah, and a multitude of relatives and friends. <br> <br>Known for his kindness, his warmth, and his infectious smile, Walter touched the lives of all who knew him. He will forever be remembered for his generosity and humbleness. <br> <br>A celebration of Walter’s life will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6, on Monday, October 06, 2025 with the family receiving condolences from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM, a celebration of life service at 12:30 PM and the internment service at Rideau Memorial Gardens, in the Nativity Garden at 1:30 PM. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. <br></div>
