<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alan Cheverton on August 8th at the age of 76. He will be dearly missed by his wife Gail, three children Craig (Trisha), Samantha (Justin) and Rebecca, and fondly remembered by his grandchildren Chloe, Taylor and Rory. He also leaves behind his sister Brenda, his nieces and nephews, and many others dear to him. <br><br>He was an amazing father who was always there for his family, friends and neighbours, constantly putting their needs above his own. He enjoyed the simple things in life; a great book, a cup of tea, and walks along the lakeshore. <br><br>A memorial will be held in his honour from 3pm-5pm on September 6th at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des-Ormeaux).<br><br>In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice. <br></div>
