Alexandros Loukas
March 17, 1938 - September 15, 2019
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our father, Alexandros Loukas. He passed away peacefully at age 81, surrounded by family after having fought liver disease for some time. He was one of 10 children born in Greece and migrated to Canada in 1964. He was a devoted husband to Chrisoula Loukas for over 54 years. He will forever be loved and cherished by his six children Georgia (Troy), Stavroula, Helen (Mark), Tina, Evangelia (Greg) and Peter (Roula). Also treasured by his twelve grandchildren Christopher, Stephan, Katerina, Anthony, Melissa, Samantha, Christina, Andrew, Steven, Justin, Adam and Juliette, along with other countless friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
Our father’s life was well lived and always filled with immense love and devotion to his family. His generous and loving spirit will be greatly missed. He had a great love for nature’s beauty, music, a great sense of humour and a remarkable skill at fixing anything. He was also a wonderful artist and craftsman. It is a true blessing to have shared in the life of such an amazing man and an honour to continue in his legacy.
