<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anastasia Salatas (Tsourapas) on March 17, 2022 at the age of 93. <br>A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. <br>Anastasia was born in Xylokastro, Korinthias Greece on March 25, 1928. <br>After marrying her husband Demetrios in 1957 they came to Montreal together to build a beautiful family and legacy in Canada. <br>Anastasia was very proud of her rose garden in Greece and spent many hours caring for it. <br>She also enjoyed picking wild raspberries at her country home making jam, tending to her wildflowers & garden and feeding a family of wild loons. <br>She leaves behind her three children Anna (George Trougakos) Costa (Ellen Papachristos) and George (Antonia Stathakis), her grandchildren Peggy, Soula (Barry Walsh), Alexia, James, Anastasia, Zach, Dimitri, Anastasia "Tessie" and her cherished great grandchildren Emily, Rhea and Gracie. <br>She will also be greatly missed by her family and friends. <br> <br>Visitations will take place on Wednesday, March 23rd 2022 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home (4275, boul. Des Sources), Dollard-des-Ormeaux. <br> <br>Funeral Mass will follow on Thursday, March 24th 2022 at 1 p.m. at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 20 Brunswick Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Québec H9B 2N8. <br>Following the Funeral Mass, she will then be taken to her final resting place at Rideau Memorial Gardens. <br></div>
