Our precious mother and Nonna, Anna Minini, passed away on Monday, November 11th, 2024 at Lakeshore Hospital.
She leaves behind her children, Sharon (Vincenzo), David (Isabelle), Tracey and Emelie (Jadan), and grandchildren, Sabrina (Luca), Gianluca, Kevin, Avalon, Jaylah, Juelz and Brescia.
Anna will also be dearly missed by her brother Giuliano and sister-in-law Maura, as well as her nephew Alberto and nieces Francesca, Cristina, and Giulia, along with many friends and coworkers whose lives she touched.
It would be wrong to say that Anna lost her battle to cancer because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined to go back to Pastamore and keep on making her lasagnas. Anna always stayed strong. Through her, we all got to see what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Her joy for life, her hearty laugh and unforgettable spirit kept her pushing through the pain.
Anna was known for sense of humor, her love of Grappa and her “colorful’’ use of words in the multitude of languages she knew. She would often make up her own words which we will all cherish in our memories.
She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed.
Friends and family are invited to say a final goodbye to Anna at the Rideau Funeral Home on Sunday, November 24th, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m., followed by a short Mass.
