It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Candace Sandra Brushett (Webster). A precious wife; beloved mother; and cherished grandmother; Candace left us peacefully on April 1st, 2025, at the age of 67.

Candace lived a life rooted in love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family. She was a spirited firecracker with a heart of gold, and her boundless generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. She was the heart of her home, offering strength, comfort, and unconditional love through every season of life.

She leaves behind her husband, Ron Brushett, who was her partner and best friend through 52 years of love and life. She was a deeply proud and loving mother to Tiffany (Shayne) and Tyler, and a doting grandmother who found true joy in the laughter of her grandchildren, Tenley, Lochlan, Whitney, Isla and Brooke. She is lovingly remembered by her extended family - her siblings, nieces, nephews and many others whose lives she touched with her strength, warmth and spirited presence.

Though she may be gone from our sight, she will never be absent from our hearts. We will miss her deeply and remember her always.

Visitation will be held on Saturday April 19th, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm at The Rideau Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 4239 Sources Blvd. Dollard-Des-Ormeaux QC H9B 2A6.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Candace’s memory can be considered to the Canadian Cancer Society, as well as the St Mary’s Hospital Foundation.
