<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charmaine Loretta Layne, on January 1, 2020, at the age of 58. <br> <br>She is survived by her mother Esme Albertha Osborne Layne; her sisters; Jocelyne Beckles, Jennifer Williams, Brenda Layne, Barbara Layne and Sherrill Layne. She will also be greatly missed by her sweet nephew Spencer Jared Barrington Layne and niece Vanessa Collins and many friends in the Caribbean and LaSalle communities. <br> <br>The family will receive the condolences at St. Lawrence Anglican Church, located at 520, 75th Avenue, LaSalle, QC, (cross streets Airlie and de La verendrye) on Friday, January 10, 2020, from 10 am to 11 am. <br> <br>The Memorial Service will be held at the same place; St. Lawrence Anglican Church, and will start at 11 am. <br> <br>Charmaine's body will be laid to rest at a date and time to be confirmed at Rideau Cemetery grounds as her final resting place. <br> <br>The celebration of Charmaine's life will be also held at St. Lawrence Anglican Church at 1:30 pm. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and/or Douglas Mental Health University Institution in her memory. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the services of CLSC LaSalle and the Douglas Mental Health University Institution for the care and assistance to the life of Charmaine Layne over the years. <br> <br>Special thanks to Bonne Étoile, Verdun Hospital and CSHLD Champlain for their diligent and attentive care of Charmaine in the final months of her life. <br></div>
