<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colette who left us suddenly. <br> <br>Treasured wife of the late Ferdinand Zacharie. Beloved mother to Mylène (Angelo), cherished Nonna to Amanda and Sergio. <br> <br>She leaves behind many friends especially her childhood friends, Simone and Claudie who have been by her side for more than 70 years. She will be missed tremendously by all. She had a kind heart and loved her family more than anything in this world. <br>She lived life on her terms and left this world the same way. <br> <br>Would like to thank Dr. Georgescu at Lakeshore Hospital for his dedication, kindness and compassion during these difficult times. <br>Our gratitude to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence cannot be expressed. The comfort and peace that the staff offered my mother and our family can never be repaid. It was a gift to have this residence providing us with support and compassion. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made in her name to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care residence. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences on Friday October 11, 2024 from 10 AM until 1:00 PM. at Rideau Funeral Home. <br>A celebration mass will be held at 1:00 at Rideau Funeral home followed by the burial.
