<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing Georgette Proulx on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the age of 96. <br> <br>Georgette was born September 17, 1926 in Alexandria, Ontario. <br> <br>Beloved partner of the late Allan Humphrey of Montreal. Survived by one sister Edwina Lapointe (late Donat). Dear aunt to Elaine Léger (Richard) who were there for her for many years, Léo Ouellette (Marcia) and Carole Greggain (Larry), all of Cornwall, Ontario. <br> <br>Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Elizabeth (Diotte) Proulx and two sisters Anita Ouellette (late William) and Irène Gauthier (late Lawrence). <br> <br>In 1949, Georgette moved to Montreal where she spent the rest of her life. She enjoyed working at Avon in Pointe-Claire for 38 years and retired in 1991. She loved travelling and going on cruises for many years. <br> <br>She will now rejoin her best friend and lifetime partner Allan Humphrey who pre-deceased her in 2002. <br> <br>We would love to express sincere thanks to the people at Le Savignon in Lachine, Quebec and especially to the caring staff at La Signature. <br> <br>Funeral arrangements have been made under the care and direction of Arbor Memorial Services at the Rideau Memorial Gardens situated at 4275 Sources Boulevard in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, 514-685-3344.
