Guy was born April 22, 1962 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

A celebration of life for Guy will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Salon funeraire Rideau Funeral Home, 4275, boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, H9B 2A6.

Guy is survived by his wife, Stephanie and their beloved dog Sophie, mother Monique Bibeau, brothers Sylvain (Josee), Yvan (Lisa), mother-in-law Carol, brother-in-law Shawn (Anastasia), nieces and nephews Vincent, Eric, Alexis, Sydnee, Sophia & Melina.

Guy was passionate about hockey, an athlete his whole life; he learned to skate before he could walk. He was hopeful the Canadians would win another Stanley Cup! He also loved cars, racing, motorcycles, and the Canadian Band, Tragically Hip, and made sure to see them every chance he got.

Guy was married to Stephanie Yarrow for 25 years. As a loving couple, they traveled throughout the globe, and especially enjoyed spoiling their Schnauzer Sophie.

His premature departure has left a void in his family's lives that will never be filled. Yet, he will be remembered for his humor, intelligence, confidence and a smile that could light up a room!

His time was cut short, after a year and half battle with ALS. The news came as a huge shock to the family, but they decided to fight and do everything possible to create something positive. He was passionate about helping under-privileged kids have an opportunity to play the game he loved so much.

Thus, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SLAP Hockey Program in Guy’s name.
