<div itemprop="description">Heather passed away peacefully on March 20, surrounded by her family. <br> <br>Born in Montreal on October 23, 1932, she spent most of her early life living in Town of Mount Royal. She was educated at Miss Edgars and Miss Cramps School and studied at McGill Teacher's College. She was a well loved kindergarten teacher at Sunnydale Elementary School in Dollard des Ormeaux. <br> <br>Heather was pre deceased by her loving husband Ian Munro Jamieson and they lived in the same home in Pointe Claire for 61 years, spending summers at the family cottage on Lac Commandant. Heather was a loving mother and she was loved and cherished by her three daughters Pamela (Arthur), Anne (Frank), and Barbara (Harvey) and was so proud of her grandchildren Liv (Derek), Shane (Maggie), Jeffrey (Courtney), Faye (Jordan), and Thomas. She was the very best Great Gran to Grant, Axton, and Ben who will all miss her dearly. <br> <br>Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. <br> <br>We thank Dr Galbraith, all the nurses, PSW workers, employees, and friends at Portobello Retirement Residence who made Heather feel like she was part of a loving and caring community. <br> <br>A private family Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. <br> <br>Heather's favourite quote that she lived her life by "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." - Maya Angelou.</div>
