<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Helen Tanyan, on January 5th, 2019 at the young age of 49. <br> <br>The loving and beloved wife of 10 years to Tony Faraggi, Helen was a devoted and wonderful mother to Matteo and an amazing step-mother to Stephanie and her husband Pat. Helen was a beautiful and vibrant woman who was caring, compassionate and generous with everyone she encountered. She will be remembered for her open and friendly nature along with her beautiful smile, that touched all those she met. <br> <br>Helen will be greatly missed by her beloved parents John Tanyan and Marie Shin Pong; sister Angela, her husband David, and their children Shoshana, Meiora, Yona and Aitan; sister Jennifer, her husband Mike, and their children Alexis and Luka; mother-in-law Rita; brother-in-law Jack, his wife Carmie, and their son Jordan; and sister-in-law Lidia. Helen is also loved and missed by numerous cousins, relatives and friends. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral service mass will follow from 2 to 2:45 p.m. after which a reception will be held from <br>4 to 6 p.m. (after a private entombment by family members at the Rideau Mausoleum). <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Helen’s memory to Operation Smile. <br></div>
