<div itemprop="description">IDA ARRIZZA 1926 - 2020 (née PAOLUCCI, Fossacesia, Italy) left us pre-maturely as a victim of COVID-19 on April 22, at the age of 94. <br> <br>She is now resting by her dear husband Donato (1917 - 2012) and loving first son Franco (1950 - January 2020). <br> <br>She will be greatly missed by her adored children, daughter-in-law Merl of the late Franco, Adriano (Helen), Claudio (Joanne), Palmira (Johnny) and Renato (Mary), her younger sister Adina, her cherished grandchildren, Elida (Luca), Stephanie, Christina (Scott), Amanda (Alex), Marco, Danny (Gianna), Angela (Fabio), Andrea, Justin (Sarah), Sabrina (Braden), Derek and Stefano and adored 8 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sister-in-laws Maria and Nicoletta, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Italy, Canada and in Australia. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Résidences CHSLD Vigi Santé Dollard-des-Ormeaux for their dedication in caring for our beloved Ida in her last year, especially the last few months where they loyally reported for work every day even as they themselves fell victim to Coronavirus, notwithstanding the shameful lack of support for protective equipment by their employer, the Quebec government. <br> <br>A memorial service with her urn will be scheduled at a later date, when social gatherings become possible again. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, you may send donations to Alzheimer Society of Canada. <br> <br>Condolences may be sent to (all emails will be forwarded to her children) or publicly via the online Guestbook link in the menu above.</div>
