<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Jean Burgy (born Springgay), at the age of 95 years old. Born in Sault-Ste-Marie ON, Jean passed away on Aug 24th at the Lakeshore General Hospital after a brief stay. <br>Beloved wife of the late André Burgy, father to Sharon (Glenn Awada) and Robert (Francine Lavoie); loving grandmother to Rachel, Ben, Michel, Erik and Chantal (Adam); and great-grandmother to Theo and Ruby. <br>Jean was devoted to her family, enjoying hosting family events so she could have her family and friends surrounding her, and being nanny for her grandkids and great-grandkids. In her earlier life, she served in the RCAF where she met her husband to be and then had a long career at the CIBC. <br>As per her wishes, no funeral is planned.</div>
