<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jeffrey “Jeff” Shotton, on April 11th, 2019, on his 75th Birthday. <br> <br>He was a loving father of sons Andrew (Yan) & Ian (Carrie), cherished grandfather of Chelsey & Ayden, and loving partner of Pat Lamont. <br> <br>He leaves to mourn his brother Ken, sister Myra (Harry), sisters-in-law Julia & Susan in England. <br> <br>Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, father Edward, sister Jenny & brother-in-law Ken, brothers David & Graham and sister-in-law Shirley as well as his aunties Alma, Nellie & Bessie. <br> <br>He will be missed by Betty Shotton (mother of Andrew & Ian) and Kerry, Kevin Harris & daughters Jenna & Kaitlin. <br> <br>He will always be remembered by his nieces & nephews Kristy (Donald), Teresa (John), Karen (Rob), Kim (Camille), Dean & Mike (Patti) and many relatives and close friends. <br> <br>Jeff loved life, was a great family man, an avid sports fan and travelled extensively. His second home was the Pierrefonds Lawn Bowling Club for the past 14 years. He will be dearly missed by all the members. He had a passion for the forklift industry and worked with several companies for 60 years that included Lansing, Strongco and Elevex. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home on Saturday, May 4th, 2019, from 10 am to 11 am. The funeral service will be held the same day at 11 am followed by the interment at Rideau cemetery. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation (https://fondationlakeshore.ca/donate/) in his memory. <br></div>
