It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Nawrot on August 26th, 2026 in London, Ontario.
John was born in Szczecinek, Poland to the late Jadwiga (Safranowicz) Nawrot and Joseph Nawrot. In his younger years, he proudly served in the Polish Army and later worked as a sailor, experiences that reflected his adventurous spirit and love of life. He was a true “jack of all trades”, always eager to learn something new. He enjoyed gardening and cooking, playing the saxophone and guitar. He was a man of many interests and abilities, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.
He leaves behind his loving wife Wieslawa and his former wife Christine, as well as his two sons, Robert (Renata) and Darren and his stepson Andrew. He will also be deeply missed by his sister Ewa and his brother Jurek in Poland, his grandchildren Angelina, Julia and Victoria and many cherished friends.
His unexpected passing has left a deep sense of loss among his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s kindness, sense of humour and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
