<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend to many, John Vena on March 12th, 2020. <br> <br>John was the youngest child of feu Michel Vena and feu Colette Zampini, and youngest brother of Teresa Yanire (feu Johnny Yanire), Andre Vena (Gabrielle), Marilyn Vena (feu Gaston Robichaud) and Gina McDonough (Joe McDonough). <br> <br>He was born and raised in his beloved Montreal, graduating from McGill University and embarking on a fulfilling and rewarding career in the commercial insurance industry, notably as President of Demers, Zajac, Vena. <br> <br>John’s professional success was only matched by the pride and love he had for his family. John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lise (nee Daoust), his daughter Valerie (Owen Ticli), his sons Daniel (Audrey Fortier) and Patrick (Megan Mallette), as well as his 10 grandchildren, Nicolas, Alexandre, Thomas, Stella, Gabriel, Sofia, Michael, Luca, Eloise & Leo. He will also be fondly remembered by the Daoust family, many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. <br> <br>The family wishes to thank all the staff at Sunrise DDO for their compassion and care. <br> <br>Memorial service to follow at a later date. <br> <br>******************************************************************************************************************************************** <br> <br>C'est avec le cœur lourd que nous annonçons le décès d'un époux, d'un père, d'un grand-père, d’un frère et d’un ami adoré, John Vena, survenu le 12 mars 2020. <br> <br>John était le plus jeune enfant de feu Michel Vena et feu Colette Zampini, et frère benjamin de Teresa Yanire (feu Johnny Yanire), Andre Vena (Gabrielle), Marilyn Vena (feu Gaston Robichaud) and Gina McDonough (Joe McDonough). <br> <br>Il a grandi à Montréal dans sa ville natale chérie, graduant de l’Université McGill et a poursuivi une carrière prometteuse et accomplie dans l’industrie de l’assurance commerciale, notamment comme président de Demers, Zajac, Vena. <br> <br>Le succès professionnel de John n’a eu d’égal que son amour et sa fierté pour sa famille. John laisse derrière lui son épouse de 44 ans, Lise (nee Daoust), sa fille Valerie (Owen Ticli), ses fils Daniel (Audrey Fortier) et Patrick (Megan Mallette), ainsi que ses 10 petits-enfants, Nicolas, Alexandre, Thomas, Stella, Gabriel, Sofia, Michael, Luca, Eloise & Leo. Il manquera également à la famille Daoust et à ses nombreux neveux, nièces, amis et collègues. <br> <br>La famille désire remercier tous les employés de la résidence Sunrise DDO pour leur dévouement et leurs bons soins prodigués. <br> <br>Un service suivra à une date ultérieure. <br></div>
