<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Gonzales Tapia, who peacefully left us on September 7, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by her loving family. <br> <br>Born on September 20, 1940, in Tanauan, Batangas, Philippines, Linda was a beloved mother, aunt, grandmother, sibling, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her. <br> <br>Linda was predeceased by her parents, Pedro and Remedios Tapia, her brothers, Cesar and Jaime Tapia, and her sister, Lorna Tapia. <br> <br>Linda will be dearly missed by her loving daughter Darlene Tapia (Karl), cherished grandson, Julien, her siblings Jorge Tapia (Carmen), Pedro Tapia Sr., and Rosario Tapia, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. <br> <br>Known for her kindness, her warmth, and her infectious laughter, Linda touched the lives of all who knew her. She will forever be remembered for her joy in gardening, baking for family gatherings, and spending time with her grandson, Julien. <br> <br>Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A6, on September 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held the following day, September 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Niche entombment will take place on September 24, 2026, at 2:30 p.m.</div>
