<div itemprop="description">Born in Barbados. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lionel Carmichael who passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2020. He was an active choir member at the Union United Church. Loving son of the late Viola Carmichael and Neville Leacock. <br> <br>Loving Brother to the late Maisie Carmichael-Gill, Estaleen Forde, Vernol Carmichael, and Cynthia Carmichael. Lionel Carmichael was a loving and devoted man, brother, father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle and a friend to many. <br> <br>Lionel leaves behind his beloved wife Faith Norville. He was a loving husband to his late wife Eudora Carmichael. Loving father to the late Marcel Petters & DeCourcy Hoyte. Loving Father to Denis & Alma Innis, Vonrick & Gillian Hoyte, Monica & Orville Reveira, Marcia Hoyte. <br> <br>Grandchildren, Alex & Julie, Mark, Charles, Violet, Suzanne, Gail, Vanessa, Alan, Nathan, Joshua and DeCarlo. Great-grands Mia, Mathew, Marcus & Morgan, Vladimir, Malachi, Tristan & Zae, Joel & Justus, Daquan & Queshawn, Kyler, Zachary & Kadisha. Loving brother-in-law to George & Bianca Norville. <br> <br>Loving Stepfather to Christopher Powley, Nelson Norville, Christopher Norville & Dawn Norville. Grandchildren Andres, Amanda, Kane, Jordan, Nathan, Jacob, Haley and Shanae. Cameron, Celina, & Cruz. And a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and even great-great ones to mention along with many relative and friends. <br> <br>Mr. Lionel Carmichael is forever loved and will be greatly missed by everyone that was blessed to have know him. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and devotion to family and friends. <br> <br> <br> <br>The family will receive the condolences at Rideau Funeral Home (4275, Boul. Des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (QC) H9B 2A6) on Friday, January 24, 2020, from 11 am to 1 pm. The funeral service will be held at the same place at 1pm. <br> <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in his memory. <br></div>
