Daydream Believer
Louise Mousseau passed away peacefully in hospital surrounded by her family on February 26, 2023. The family is greatly saddened by her passing, but we all know that her spirit will enjoy the freedom and adventure of her next great journey. She is likely already up to fun shenanigans with her dear sister Lucie.
Born in 1952, Louise was a smart fun-loving girl who loved nature, adventure and had a way of making everyday life more fun. She was kind, loved to help others, loved to chatter and could make friends with anyone. Always the optimist, she had a way of helping those around her see the joy, love and possibilities that the world had to offer.
In the summer of 1969, while still in high school, she met the love of her life, her husband James. They shared their lives together for 53 years; and together; their built a beautiful home and family. She was a loving mother to Sharon (Cameron) and Karen (Timothy) and was always fiercely protective of her girls, but nothing meant more to her than her sweet grandchildren, whom she adored and doted on: Ulrich, Alexandria, Calysta and Tobias.
She had a green thumb and took loving care of her many gardens and the numerous plants that filled her home. She also had a very adventurous nature, often trying new things or travelling to many corners of the World with her husband James.
She is also survived by her brothers: Francois (Andre-Pierre) and Phillip (Kathleen), whom she was very close to, as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at the Rideau Funeral Parlour at 4275, boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec on March 5, 2023 from 12pm-4pm.
