<div itemprop="description">Shri Madan Lal Chaudhary, age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7th 2021 at LaSalle hospital in LaSalle, Quebec. He was preceded by his parents Dhanu Ram and Kaushalya Devi, and older son Arvind who tragically passed away at a young age. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sumedha Sehra, three children, Sarita, Sangeeta, and Sanjeev, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. <br> <br>He was born in Jampur, India on Feburary 18th, 1932. In his early life, during his student years he moved to Bhiwani, India during partition. He received his BA in Jalandhar, Punjab. He worked in many jobs, but he followed his passion of teaching kids and became an English teacher. He was very supportive to his wife Sumedha Devi, he even helped her finish her studies while he took care of their children. <br> <br>He worked as a teacher until retirement, afterwards he moved to Montreal, Quebec and worked difficult manual jobs to provide for his son and family. The support he provided helped them get settled and build a great life together. He was dedicated to make their life better even if it meant putting them before himself. He continued his passion of teaching by educating his grandchildren which helped them excel in their studies and become successful in their professions. <br> <br>He spent his later years at his home in Canada living with his daughter and her family. He enjoyed spending his time staying active by walking along LaSalle Boulevard, doing yoga, meditation, reading newspapers, writing lessons for his grandchildren, and listening to his favorite Indian songs. <br> <br>He will always be remembered for his kind soul, his dedication to others and his unrelenting love for his family. <br> <br>Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 13th at 1pm at the Rideau Memorial Gardens located at 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux H9B 2A6, 514-685-3344.</div>
