It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Marcel Willems, on June 11th at the age of 95.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years of marriage, Louisa Oostveen, who also passed away this year on the 15th of February.
Marcel leaves to mourn his three children, Larry (the late Candis), Rudy (Patricia) and Elizabeth (Michael). Grandfather (Opa) to Victoria, Nicole, Thomas, Jessica, Alexandra and Marc as well as great grandfather to Ethan, Ryder and Noah. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law’s Rien, Roel, sister-in-law’s Elly and Therese, nieces, nephews and friends.
Our Dad was a kind and gentle soul, who was always ready to lend a helping hand to those that needed it. A proud Dutchman who loved life and enjoyed it to its fullest. The memories and stories you shared with us will stay within our hearts forever.
We love you and will miss you deeply. May you rest in peace.
A church service to celebrate his life will be held on July 6th, 2024 at 11:00 am at St Edmond of Canterbury Parish, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd, Beaconsfield, Quebec followed by the burial.
