It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and nonna, Maria Frazzetto Vacirca.
She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, and is now reunited with her beloved husband, Filippo Vacirca (1935-2024).
Maria was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother who devoted her life to the happiness and well-being of her family. Her gentle nature, caring heart, and unconditional love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She found joy being with family and friends, travelling the world and found peace through prayer. With her genuine heart and talented hands, she created a warm and beautiful home filled with love, comfort, and treasured memories for her family.
Her family was the greatest love of her life and the heart of everything she did. Her presence will live on in the hearts of those she loved, carried forward through the memories they shared, the love she gave so freely, the wisdom she passed down, and the stories she leaves behind. She will be profoundly missed and although she is no longer by our side, her love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all those whose lives she touched.
She leaves behind her three beloved sons, Joe (Antonietta), Sebastiano (Loreta), and Marco (Natasha), and her cherished grandchildren, Stefano, Felicia, Alesio, Sabrina, Luciano, Philip, and Victoria; and her brother Angelo.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9B 2A6, on Wednesday, September 2, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A vigil service will be held from 4:00pm to 4:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maria's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Foundation.
