It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Marion, on November 6, 2018, a month shy of her 92nd birthday.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ross Trueman, loving mother of Pamela, Kim (Glenn), and Barbara (Rick), cherished “Mums” of Andrew (Cara), Kelly, Brett, Amanda, Riley, Madison and Harrison and Great Grandma of Skye and Mackenzie. Marion (Mags as they called her) was predeceased by her siblings Ethel, Tommy, Harry, Eileen, Rita and Freddie.

Marion will always be remembered for her love of family, her kind nature, beautiful smile and “The Best” family dinners. A lady to the very end, Mom had only nice things to say, never complained and was always grateful. She derived tremendous pride and joy from her grandchildren, treasured the special bond she had with her nieces and nephews and valued many lasting friendships.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff on the Care Floor at Le Cambridge for their care and support over the last several years, and special thanks to Dr. Beaudry and the staff on the 4th floor of Verdun Hospital for their compassionate care over the last two months.

The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre (WICWC.org) or your favourite charity would be greatly appreciated.
