<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michele Mele, who peacefully left us on August 22nd, 2026. Born in Avellino, Italy on September 29th, 1930 he was a beloved spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling, and friend. <br> <br>Michele will be dearly missed by his loving children Tina (Pascal), Ralph, Giacomo (Myrna), Pina (Michael) and Lucy (Andy), her cherished grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as a multitude of relatives and friends. <br> <br>He was a devoted husband, father, and Nonno whose thoughtfulness, strength, and love of life touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His joy and zest for life were truly contagious, leaving a lasting impression on all those around him. Michele leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, family, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. <br> <br>We would like to send a special thank you to the CLSC Pierrefonds and Nova west island for their help and compassionate care of out father. <br> <br>A celebration of his life will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6, on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a mass.</div>
