<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Nenna Thelwell (née Jarrett), peacefully on Monday October 28, 2019 at the age of 86. <br> <br>She was the wife of the late Denslie Thelwell who passed away in November 2016, beloved mother of Karen (Mark) in British Columbia, Fiona (Mat) in New York and Vinette (Christian) in Pennsylvania; cherished "Gamma" to her grandchildren Kristen Savannah and Vanessa Michèle. <br> <br>Nenna will be missed by her loving sisters, brothers, many close relatives, friends and was "Auntie Nen" to treasured nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews. <br> <br>Born in Jamaica, she would later move to England to continue her pharmacy studies, marry, have a family then on to settle in the Montreal area. <br> <br>She took great delight in her family, enjoyed singing, walking, biking, reading, shopping, gardening and was especially fond of her apple trees - eager to share her harvest with anyone who would indulge. <br> <br>A truly thoughtful soul who will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace. <br> <br>Relatives and friends are invited to gather in her memory for a Celebration of Life repast from 5-9 pm on Saturday, November 23rd at the Maison Pitfield House: <br> <br>9432 boul.
