Nicola Iaizzo passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on April 14, 2026, at the age of 94. He was the proud and devoted husband of the late Giovannina Di Nucci, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and commitment.
Nicola was a cherished father to Tony, deceased (Santina), Rino (Soula), and Theresa (Michel). He took immense pride in his family and found great joy in each generation. His treasured grandchildren are Joanna (Mira), Nicholas (Kristina), Marianna (Andre), Felicia (Blair), Vanessa (Carlos), Alexandra (Simon), Athena (Louis), Thomas, and Elias. Nicola was also deeply blessed to be a loving great grandfather to Ava, Rio, Liam, Amelia, Luca, Emilia, Vera, and Peter.
Nicola will be remembered for his devotion to family, his strength, and the love he generously shared with all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he so dearly cherished.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the attentive and compassionate staff of Anna Laberge Hospital and the CLSC Palliative Home Care Team for the exceptional care provided.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Anna Laberge Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
